About the Practitioner

Patty Wruble, LMT

Hi!  I have been practicing massage for over 22 years and as a licensed professional massage therapist, my passion is to help people restore balance and increase their health, wellness, and athletic performance.

I've been often asked how I got into massage. That is an interesting question, indeed. My answer: it was on a dare. Yep, truly. You see, I often did spot massages on friends. You know, shoulder, back, hand, feet etc. They loved it so much they kept telling me I should do this professionally.

Well, I finally took them on the dare and enrolled into massage school. I warned them that meant I would not be able to  hang out with them on the weekends as I would be in school. But, they also loved being the guinea pigs as I practiced my techniques on them!

Thank you to all my friends in Northern California who not only supported my endeavor, but gave me their trust and deep friendship. And, a wonderful graduation party! I am eternally grateful. LOVE YOU GUYS!

I love this work so much and I am excited about my new expanded hours in 2019 as I retire from my corporate job and can now offer more opportunities for my clients, new and established, to schedule their massages!

College Sports

Having played college softball and tennis, I am well aware of the  needs of the athlete. I had also trained myself to ride 100K bicycling events in various venues in Northern California. I especially liked the Cinderella Classics where the riders were all women and the men, spouses, brothers, family and friends catered to us throughout the ride. The best part was the Lemon Drop Man who strategically placed himself near the latter part of the ride doling out lemon drops as we rode by to help keep us hydrated. We knew we only had a "little" further to go to the finish when we saw him!

Other rides I did were the Banana Classic that took us up to Skyline for a grand view of the S.F. Bay and the Delta Century out in the Stockton Valley.

Graduating from the National Holistic Institute & Teaching Clinic in Emeryville, California

With 720 credit hours of massage education and practice under my belt, I began my part-time practice in the SF Bay area while maintaining a full time job.
